Jeremy Johnston - Recording, Mixing, Mastering and Live Sound
Over the past 16 years, I’ve recorded hundreds of studio albums across all genres, engineered sessions for major label recording artists and global companies, and have toured around the world as a live sound engineer.
As an engineer, I want to capture your performance at its very best, and to bring your songs to life, just as you imagined them. I work hard to bring the artists vision to fruition from day one, beginning with demos and preproduction right through tracking, mixing and finally mastering. The attitude I bring to the studio is relaxed and also focused. I am committed to getting the very best results for your project - whatever it takes.
Some of the artists I’ve worked with in the studio: Future (for Drake’s ‘Views’ album), SwitchFoot, New Found Glory, Everlast, A Day to Remember, Queensryche, Devendra Banhart, Jose Alvarez (GRAMMY Winner), Joanne Shenandoah (GRAMMY Winner), Loren and Mark, Dynamo, Ceili Rain, Leo Crandall, Nick Piccinnini (of Yonder Mountain String Band), Melissa Gardiner (of Vulfpeck, MG3, SilverArrow Band), Rabbit in the Rye, as well as projects for Universal Music Group, SiriusXM, Stitcher, ABC, NBC, Discovery Channel, Sci Fi Channel and Fox.
Recent post-production work includes editing and mixing the Freakonomics Radio podcast, Off Leash podcast and ADR/voice over engineering for Law and Order SVU, The Flash, Naked and Afraid, Ted Talks, Haven and Glee.
Some of the artists I’ve mixed live gigs for include Montgomery Gentry, Loren and Mark, Root Shock, Driftwood, Ripe, Giant Panda Guerilla DubSquad, Big Mean Sound Machine, Zach Deputy, Danielle Ponder & The Tomorrow People, Sophistafunk, Keller Williams, Mike Powell, West End Blend, Floodwood, Ryan Montbleau, Mile Twelve, Tom Rush, Patti Larkin, Sultans of String, Aztec Two Step, Brother Brothers, Upstate, Abbie Gardner, Ryanhood and many, many more. I’ve also mixed Front of House for tours across the United States, Germany, Switzerland, Russia and New Zealand.
