Jeremy Johnston - Recording, Mixing, Mastering and Live Sound

My name is Jeremy Johnston, and I am an Audio Engineer based in Upstate New York. I started making records professionally in 2006, prior to that I was making them just for fun with my friends. Recording music has been a lifelong passion for me. It’s been my hobby as well as my career.

Over the past 14 years, I’ve recorded hundreds of studio albums across all genres, engineered sessions for major label recording artists and global companies, and have toured around the world as a live sound engineer.

As an engineer, I want to capture your performance at its very best, and to bring your songs to life, just as you imagined them. The attitude I bring to the studio is relaxed but focused. I am committed to getting the very best results for your project - whatever it takes.

Some of the artists I’ve worked with in the studio: Future (for Drake’s ‘Views’ album), SwitchFoot, New Found Glory, Everlast, A Day to Remember, Queensryche, (GRAMMY Winner) Jose Alvarez, Joanne Shenandoah (GRAMMY Winner), Loren and Mark, Dynamo, Nick Piccinnini (of Yonder Mountain String Band), Melissa Gardiner (of Vulfpeck, MG3, SilverArrow Band), Rabbit in the Rye,  as well as projects for Universal Music Group, ABC, NBC, Discovery Channel, Sci Fi Channel and Fox.

Some of the artists I’ve mixed live gigs for:  Montgomery Gentry, Loren and Mark, Root Shock, Driftwood, Giant Panda Guerilla DubSquad, Big Mean Sound Machine, Zach Deputy, Danielle Ponder & The Tomorrow People, Sophistafunk, Keller Williams, Mike Powell, West End Blend, Floodwood, Ryan Montbleau, Mile Twelve, Tom Rush, Patti Larkin, Sultans of String, Brother Brothers, Upstate, Abbie Gardner, Ryanhood. And I’ve mixed live sound for tours across the United States, Germany, Switzerland, Russia and New Zealand.
